Götz
dolls are considered by many doll enthusiasts to be the finest vinyl
play dolls, and among the finest vinyl artist dolls in the world (we do not
currently offer artist dolls). These dolls are
designed and crafted with extraordinary attention to artistic form and practical function.
Gotz dolls are
made in several countries, including China, Germany and Hungary.
Features of
Götz Play Dolls
Body Characteristics:

The body is gently stuffed while the arms, legs and head are made of vinyl.
Care for these dolls by machine washing, gentlest cycle with the doll in a pillowcase to
protect its hair.

| Hard, Standing,
Articulated. The body, limbs and head are vinyl. the limbs are
jointed and pose-able. Hand wash these dolls with a washcloth using warm water and a
gentle soap (do not submerge the doll in water).

| Sleep Eyes. The
moveable eyes (close when doll is laid down) are inserted by hand at the shop and aligned
individually into the vinyl head.

| Bright Eyes. The
immoveable eyes are inserted by hand and aligned individually into the vinyl head.

| Painted Eyes. The
eyes are hand painted onto the doll head with non-toxic paints.
|
Hair:
| Rooted. The
synthetic fiber hair has a natural structure that was developed in part by Götz researchers. The
hair is sewn onto the head, making it very durable and ideal for children's play.
Use a wire brush to gently brush out snarls. Wash the hair with baby shampoo, brush,
style and let dry in the air without use of heated styling tools.

| Kanekalon Wig.
Very similar to human hair, this wig is glued onto the doll's head. Use a wire brush to

| Painted Hair.
Non-toxic permanent paint is sprayed onto the doll's head. Wash painted hair
with a washcloth using water and a gentle soap.

Faces:
| Each doll's face is
meticulously hand-painted with non-toxic dyes and paints. Subtle shading and
coloring helps to create a different personality for each doll.

Apparel:
| The clothing on each
doll is considered a very special feature of the doll. Made from non-toxic,
flame-retardant natural fibers, including cotton, linen, leather, and silk, they also
display upbeat and timely fashions.
